Always thinking about food and the city, Christopher has experience working in upscale kitchens in SoHo and Williamsburg. He currently works at The Brooklyn Kitchen assisting the culinary education department. Now that he has completed his thesis on immigrant labor in professional kitchens, he will graduate in May from NYU with a BA in Metropolitan Studies. Christopher wears a lot of black, sings in a soul band, and loves olives.

His goal here, is to explore the understated elements of food, chemistry and pleasure. Through extensive food research and experimentation, thefoodlaboratory will lead you on an exciting adventure into the gastronomic undercity.
